Swap

Crafter girl in love with pretty things (me) is looking for partner who shares the same passion willing to barter.
Make your offer and, if it tickles my fancy and mine makes your heart ping, we will have a swap in progress.

A little explanation before that...

As I have hinted here and there, these days I am not knitting or crocheting as often as I did. Not that I don't fancy it anymore; on the contrary, it is my favourite hobby and I cannot conceive my leisure time without a pair of needles on my hands and a skein on my lap. The problem is I no longer have a real motivation to knit: already own too many clothes, my house doesn't need more blankets and there are no recipients for my handknitted-with-love garments.

Caring friends and relatives —none of them a knitter, of course— suggest me to put my creations up for sale every now and then. Needless to say, they all admire my work from the distance, but don't really like handmade stuff and have no idea of the time and effort spent on every item. None of them would be willing to pay what I would ask for a piece, yet they do love me and feel very pleased to have helped me put the blindfold off my eyes.

To the point

Putting items up for sale already discarded and having no suitable victims among my acquaintaces, the only feasible and appealing way for me is bartering: crafters surely apprecitate the work behind a handknitted garment without pricing it. ;-)

Besides, I have succesfully joined several swaps and barters so far and I enjoyed every single minute of them. Not only knitting for another person is exciting but also knowing you are receving something in exchange, right? Swaps are a strong motivating force to think about patterns, yarn, colours, size, treats, the person receiving it and also the perfect excuse for me to take up drawing after so many years. And to knit, of course!

What do I offer?

I will make something of your choice (or not!) in exchange of something you will make for me. Easy peasy! Giving makes me happy and receiving makes me even happier. If it makes you happy too and you like what I do, think no further: send me a message and most probably we will reach an agreement.
