Wedding handkerchief

I keep going to my lace making classes once a week. It must show on my face that I am a diligent pupil because they gave me the most difficult design they had! Although I must confess I love it. It is a wedding handkerchief (where the groom will deposit the coins he is offering the bride) and has a matching fan -- which means there is more torturing after this! This is a patter from Patrons Roka and needs 110 bobbins or 55 pairs.

Huge!Spanish pillow

Por favor, ¡no miréis los errores!

I think the thread I am using is a bit too thick for this but I don't care that much as it turns out to be stiff enough to avoid starching later. ;-)
Please don't mind the mistakes!

This entry is dedicated to RodPrjónar: he is not only learning to make bobbin lace by himself but also is teaching the basics to a friend. :-)

Tejuca #4

Tejuca #4
Girl & Boy

#4 in baby blue and salmon pink. Finished in two days while watching my favourite series. I don't think I can crochet anymore without reading subtitles!

GALA in progress

Third time is the charm: finally I got the right needles for this project and yarn, after two fronts knitted and ripped. Not that I haven't checked my gauge before starting. Two months wasted! Knitting mysteries.

p.s.1. I hate the LYS owner. Intensely.
p.s.2. Odio que digan "hacer molde". Yo no hago "molde"; yo "tejo".

Task #3 finished in two days! Blue shades today. Now time for a little needlework...

Tejuca #3
I see granny squares. All the time. They're everywhere.

Tejuca #2

Finally, after two weeks of a futile wait (looks like the e-mail went right into the spam folder), Sonieta and I got the instructions. Purple and mauve shades this time.

Tejuca #2
Girly grannies

Fortunately, this task turned out to be a light one (28 granny squares) and I managed to finish it within two days. Now I can catch up with everyone!

Mini Wisp

Here is a project I finished just a year ago. I knitted it between April and May, stored it up without blocking nor weaving ends and tried to forget about it. Why? It was too hard to knit. Partly because of the pattern, which isn't appealling to me at all, and partly because of my own feelings at that time. When I am planning new project, I usually look at most popular patterns in Ravelry. Usually, it is love at first sight. However, Wisp was hate.

Green will-o'-the-wisp

I admit other Wisps I have seen look very beautiful, and you shoud not keep my words at heart and dismiss this pattern. It may be perfect for you! But sadly, not for me. Had lots of problems with fishnet lace. How are you supposed to k2tog when one of the stitches is a yo from previous row?! It was taking forever for a little scarf planned to just use up remaining yarn from another project. Perhaps this is not the best yarn to try out new stitches but it didn't turn well for me.

This entry is dedicated to Merchy, who started this KAL with me but gave up -- and I don't blame her.
