Tú y yo

Éste es otro de mis olvidados proyectos que he decidido retomar de nuevo. Lo empecé para una clase del instituto -no recuerdo el nombre de la asignatura, era una optativa dedicada a manualidades y creatividad de todo tipo- pero sólo terminé uno de los manteles y una de las servilletas. Más tarde en casa terminé la otra servilleta, pero antes de ponerme con el segundo mantel me cansé de hacer siempre lo mismo.

A este juego de mantel y servilleta se le llama "Tú y yo". Se compone tan sólo de dos manteles y dos servilletas (para una pareja). Lo he hecho a punto de cruz (los lirios en dos esquinas opuestas del mantel y una de la servilleta, y la cenefa) y he usado vainica con flecos para el borde.

Another of my long forgotten projects I've taken up again. Started it years ago as a home economics class project at highschool -finished one placemat and one napkin. Later at home finished the other napkin and then got tired of it.

This kind of tablecloth in Spanish it's called 'Tú y yo' ('You and I') and includes two placemats and two napkins -it's meant for a couple. I used cross-stitch embroidery for iris (at two opposite corners of the placemats and at one corner of the napkins) and border, and hemstitch and fringes for hem.
