Postcrossing

Hace calor. Mucho calor.

¡Feliz verano!

I ♥ Postcrossing

It is hot. Very hot. Very very hot. Hotter than you would imagine.
Sadly I can't run away to my favourite spot this year so I will have to "suffer" our patron saint festival with all its noise (which is more than I can endure) and this sticky heat. Too bad I am poor!
I can barely move a finger in this weather with my sweaty hands and low blood pressure: needles keep dropping, yarn is uncomfortable, sketching paper gets dirty, using the oven is out of question, impossible to go out... Thank goodness there is Postcrossing and my travelling friends to bring me some sanity during the season. ♥

Happy summer!

  1. I had never heard of postcrossing. That's very interesting. I sure hope the heat goes away soon or we will melt, too.
Most of the world is poor so we are in the majority with you, lol. We don't go on vacations as a rule. Only one time and we didn't know what to do with ourselves so we came back home. Yes, we are weird.
    Wishing you cooler temperatures...

    1. It's a nice project if you are into penpals and collecting cards or stamps like I am. I've got a few jewels since I joined and it brings some joy to my postbox.
Not that weird! I didn't get to go on vacations either but for the last 14 years I've managed to escape from the festivities to some friend's out of town or to a small boarding house by the sea. Not this year though. :-(
      Wishing the same to you...

      Besitos, feliz y fresquito verano.
