My international parcel came all the way from an undisclosed spot in the Pacific:
Two tea boxes, Pure Assam & Premium Blend (black tea), from Australia
One very gorgeous skein of brown 50% baby alpaca 50% fine merino, from Perú
One terrific packet of chocolate cookies from New Zealand
A card handsomely handwritten
Many many thanks to Gege, the author of the Geekiest Blanket Ever (I want to be Gege when I am a grown up!)
*side note: I, who-do-not-like-chocolate, devoured these cookies in a few days and is craving more*
On the other hand, my parcel also arrived in Atlanta, United States. If you would like to know more about Ayana Red, my swap partner, you can do so by visiting her blog: www.ayanared.com
Your package is wonderful! I had the pleasure of trying Tim Tams when a co-worker's daughter brought them back from her stay in Australia for graduate school. Apparently, those cookies are so popular there. See, maybe you do like chocolate after all. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, Gege is a genius with the crochet hooks. I love her work with wool and her ability to create such graphic designs with yarn.
Glad you participated in the tea and yarn swap and that your package arrived safe and sound. :-)
No, I don't think I like chocolate at all. But I do like this kind of cookies together with pineapple juice or black tea. ;-)
DeleteShe is truly a genius! I had known her works for a while (watermelon bag & super mario bros blanket) but no clue she was joining your swap and, needless to say, she was my swap partner!! Thank you for hosting!
DeleteBesitos.
Ooo, what a nice swap package. I've never had Tim Tams, but they sound delicious. And the yarn must be heavenly. Baby alpaca is sooo soft. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteThey were truly delicious, try them if you ever have the chance. The yarn is simply gorgeous. I can't wait to work with it!
Estamos bien, no te preocupes.
Delete¡Hablamos el miércoles!
Besos.
