Sí, ¡por fin! Lo terminé anoche mientras veía el Holanda-Rusia -recordemos que está jugándose la Eurocopa ahora en Junio. Me encanta hacer punto mientras veo el fútbol, me salen mejor las cosas y todo. :-)
Estoy realmente contenta de haber terminado este proyecto, porque lo tengo desde que iba al instituto. Esta semana lo lavaré y lo plancharé (tiene ahora mismo un color amarillo grisáceo que te hace dudar cuál es su color original). Le sacaré una foto en la mesa del comedor.
A todo esto: ¡mide 1,50 de diámetro! Es enorme. A partir de hoy, deja de ser un tapete para convertirse oficialmente en un mantel. Y lo vamos a usar para la comida de Navidad.
pd: por cierto, que al final ganó Rusia, aunque yo estaba animando a Holanda, que eran mis favoritos para ganar el campeonato. Ahora animaré a Alemania, espero que no lo echen a perder. De todos modos, muchas felicidades a Rusia porque hicieron el partido perfecto.
pd2: hoy juegan España-Italia. Hay una gran animadversión contra ellos. Aún no sé si verlo o no. Hace 14 años estuve a punto de tener una crisis nerviosa porque los italianos ganaron injustamente con trampas (así son ellos). En aquellos tiempos no era más que una adolescente ingenua, pero hoy en día les sigo guardando rencor, es algo que no puedo evitar, y no sé que me podría llegar a pasar si vuelven a ganar. Aunque... la verdad es que me muero de ganas por verlo. ¿Qué hago? ;-)
Yes, it's true! I finished it last night, while watching Holland-Russia football match -the European championship is taking place these days. I really enjoy crocheting while watching football, it makes my work better. :-)
I'm very very happy to have been able to finish this project I had since I was at highschool. This week I'll wash it (it's so yellow-greyish you can't tell white is its true colour) and iron it, and take a photo on the dining table.
It's 1,50 m wide! The biggest doily ever. From now, it's been officially changed from doily to tablecloth, and we'll be using it on Christmas.
ps: By the way, Russia won and passed. I was cheering Holland, they were my fav team to win the championship. Now I'll cheer Germany, hope they don't mess up too. Anyway, congrats to Russia because they played a perfect match.
pps: Today Spain plays against Italy. There's a big grudge against them. I still don't know whether I'm watching it or not. 14 yrs ago I was on the point of a nervous breakdown when Italy cheated and won. I was a sweet innocent teenager then, but even nowadays I'm still holding a grudge and don't know what will happen to my health if they win again. Oh, but I want to watch it! What am I going to do? ;-)
