Hitofude Cardigan —et II

Hitofude Cardigan
English

Adiós, adiós.
Hitofude Cardigan

These pictures were forgotten in a dark corner of my hard disk. They were taken in October just a year ago and even if the cardigan seems a different one, it is the same I posted on my previous post. The colour difference between them is huge. I am slowly learning to use my camera and it shows, my latest photos look more real, even though taking pictures here at the batcave is a challenge all year long.

This must be the first time I post the modelling pictures before the hanger ones. A mistake that is not to be repeated.

The increasing lace pattern creates a gentle drape

Perfect symmetry, as it should be

Fan cardigan

The weather turned cold suddenly, as always, and thus I bid good-bye to my beloved Hitofude until next summer (we do not have spring or autumn anymore). Now it is time to get my wardrobe ready for the winter season, discard those garments that can no longer be used and look for replacements. Time to plan new knits. :-)

Bye-bye.

  1. I love the drape of this cardigan, and the shape is very figure flattering. You must be thrilled with it. I'd be really sad to put it in storage for the winter, too.

We have 2.5 inches of snow on the ground which was a total surprise. we rarely have snow in Novenber, but I love it and enjoy walking in the brish air.

    Have a great week!

    1. Thank you, Toni! I like this design very much because it looks great on everybody, no matter if slender, fat, tall or short. Now it is waiting patiently in the handwash laundry pile. I will be missing it these months, but there is plenty of yarn garments to wear in the winter too.
Wow, isn't that a little too soon to have snow? You guys didn't even had Thanksgiving yet! What a beautiful surprise. Enjoy your walks and take many pictures, I wish I could enjoy it too. :-)
      Stay warm!

  2. Although you claim your bat cave is too dark I think you have got wonderful light and your pictures are great and capture your cardigan perfectly! I am always amazed with your neat stitches!

    1. Thanks, Maya! However, the cardigan looks brownish in this photoshoot, the real colour is the off-white shown in last post. Light is so awful in my place that I had to purchase a DSLR camera because my old point-and-shoot one wouldn't even focus by the window at noon. I still find it difficult to capture the real colour of things (what is the right setting for indoors low light, anyway?) but I am slowly learning. :-)
      Have a great day!

      Besicos.

  4. Oh, this is absolutely exquisite! I am so impressed with your beautiful work--and your photos look wonderful, too :) Hope you are having a lovely November--we had 2 inches of snow yesterday and a record low temperature for November!

    1. Thank you so much for your kind words, Carol! November started very warm and has made a sudden turn for the cold. It seems like autumn only lasted two weeks this year. We never have snow where I live, but it is snowing heavily in the northern mountains so we get some drizzling from the chilly winds. I love this cosy weather! :-)
Enjoy the snow and stay warm!

    1. ¡Gracias, Alex!

A saber quin botó vaig tocar! Jajaja.

      Besos.

    1. Hi Julie! This cardigan is perfect for spring indeed, I highly recommend it. The winter suddenly came in and I had to put it in storage until next year. Time to wear something warmer and drink plenty of hot tea. :-)
      Have a lovely weekend!

  11. ¡Andaaaaa!
