Me he reido mucho de cómo has descrito los horrores de ese Programa de Fiestas, con ese humor un poquito ácido que tanta gracia me hace.Aunque el panorama es terrible.
ReplyDeleteSupongo que el post del 2018 te servirá para repetirlo durante varios años, porque esas costumbres tan arraigadas no terminan así como así. Nunca entenderé por qué para celebrar algo hay que ser tan ruidoso y poco civilizado.....yo también suelo huir de los festejos anuales (me agobio mucho con el olor a fritanga de las casetas y el barullo en general ...y eso que aquí los niños no tiran petardos).
En fin, no sé cómo consolarte de ese martirio.

No hay consuelo posible, Gema. ¡Ojalá pudiera irme lejos! La cosa ha ido degenerando con el tiempo hasta llegar a la situación actual y no parece que vaya a tener fin. Esto hay que sufrirlo año tras año para entender mi desesperación, jajaja. Si no me lo tomara con humor no sé si podría soportarlo. Por suerte ya queda un día menos. ;-)

Las fiestas a veces son un sinsentido, parece que si no está uno bebiendo alcohol como un loco no puede divertirse. Yo doy gracias todos los años por vivir alejada del centro del pueblo. Ánimo que ya queda un día menos. Un beso.
ReplyDeleteQué suerte tienes, Ana María. Puedes disfrutar de las fiestas si quieres y cuando quieras, y después descansar en casa tranquila. Aquí ni una cosa ni la otra. Menos mal que nada es eterno y antes de que me dé cuenta habrá terminado todo. :-)

ReplyDeleteSo here it is again: we are currently in Ohrid where a similar thing happens where the city fathers are lousy organizers and they make bursting tight schedule of festivals and concerts, so besides the regular domestic and foreign tourists, the city is flooded by teenagers and youth drawn by great music offer, which in my opinion should be stretched out throughout July and August. Miraculously, the madness dies down somewhere after the 5th of August, so we have had a week of tranquility! I wish you luck!
I wish the city were just busy with concerts, Maya. At least they would had to be located outskirts. It is just that the local festivities dedicated to our patron saint degenerated into an all-night orgy of alcohol and party on the streets for the whole week. The scorching heat (this is the hottest time of the year for us with 28C-30C at nights) doesn't help at all. Thankfully it will end in a few days and we will be able to rest and enjoy the silence.
