Mocha knitting

Baby Alpaca Mocha Tunic
Dulce de moca
English

Baby Alpaca Mocha Tunic
Sweet mocha stitches

I am feeling very tired since spring came and we switched to summer time last weekend. I only want to sleep all day long! But loyal to my promise for this year I try hard to knit some rows everyday. I have nicknamed this very special yarn as Mocha because it reminds me of a mocha cake made with cookies that a former classmate used to bake for us. I think sweet with every stitch that slips from one needle to the other...

I think 2014 is going to be a seed stitch & cable year.✿

  3. Your knitting is beautiful! Love the yarn, too.
Is the daytime temperature already getting hot where you live? I wouldn't like that either. We are having beautiful weather with mild days and cool nights - perfect. Too bad it will end soon.
    Stay cool!

    1. Thank you! This yarn is very soft and sweet to knit, I'm already in love with it.
The temperature isn't getting high but we're having very windy days. I can't stand dry and windy weather! Too much sneezing and goosebumps. Still no sign of rain here in my desert. I'm glad to know you're enjoying better days. Your yard must be really beautiful lately! :-)

  4. Wow, you already started with the yarn. I'm very impressed. A lot of time I can't figure out how to use the yarns I have, especially the ones that are most different from my normal yarns. I need to get as focused as you and execute some projects! I do understand the part about the time change. It's very hard for me to adjust when we change our times here. Happy summer. :-)

    1. I wanted to start it sooner but I refrained myself from picking up the needles until I finished an order I had pending --I'm working hard fixing my startitis and finishing those UFOs all around the room.

It's the same for me, wondering what to do with this or that yarn. Thankfully we have Ravelry pattern database for that! I'm trying to improve and be organized: queueing projects that "I can do with my current stash" rather than projects "I'd like to make because they're pretty" is the first step. ;-)
