Blankets

Seed & Cable
Tejiendo en el "jardín"
English

Seed & Cable
Knitting in the "garden"

My Seed & Cable blanket's progress is satisfactory. After some swatching we chose double seed stitch and 4/4 cables. The pattern is my own and a very simple one that I would like to share on my blog once the blanket is finished.

Tejuca
And crocheting too

On the other hand, my TEJUCA blanket is almost finished after 2 years. The only thing remaining is weaving in some rebel ends and choosing a nice edging. I crocheted 155 neuter granny squares in record time and -worst of all- sewed together with the other pieces of the puzzle.

Meanwhile I keep on working on some cases I promised someone so long ago that I am ashamed to remember when it was. They will be going abroad very soon and I can't delay it anymore. No pictures of these because I don't want to spoil the surprise. :-)

  2. Both projects are looking quite lovely. I'm impressed with all that weaving in action on the crocheted blanket. It will be worth it in the end. :-)

p.s. I know the "guilt" of owing people projects, even the tiniest of ones. It's always on the list or on the mind, but one day (hopefully) it will be completed and not just a WIP. lol

    1. All that weaving in made me feel like no more crocheting small pieces and sewing them together again! But we both know I am dying to pick up the hook the moment I finish this one, mix some nice colours and see how it turns out. ;-)

      Besos.

  4. Big congratulation on your Seed & Cable pattern! It's gorgeous, and I think you could probably sell it on Ravelry if you are of the mind to do that. Love Tejuca, too. And your garden knitting spot looks so pleasant and refreshing. Have a great week.

    1. Thank you! I'm glad you like it. :-) Will probably put it up for downloading on Ravelry too if I manage to write down the instructions in proper English.
My "garden" is just that: four pots near the window to the dark alley. But they're cute. ;-)
      Have a nice week!
