About yarn & Valentine's gifts

Peruvian Pure Alpaca Fina

¡Gracias, Libby! ♥

Ahora... ¡a tejer!

♥♥♥
Peruvian Pure Alpaca Fina
St Valentine's from crafter to crafter

The sooner I say "As God is my witness I will not buy more yarn...", the sooner I buy/someone gives me more yarn. More than 4000 yards were added to my stash in February. Oh well. My head is buzzing with some ideas for all of them and my hands are burning because I can't wait to start working on new projects!
:-)

To those ten beige acrylic skeins mum brought home to make a new blanket we need to add the sales purchase. The remaining skeins were in orange-brown and blue-grey shades. I chose orange, of course. I was a good girl and only bought two skeins (one for each foot). Had there been more colours to choose I wouldn't have played the good girl, I am afraid. ;-)

But there is more! I received this gift from my Southern St. Valentine's: five wonderful skeins of fine alpaca that have been already assigned to a project (crossing my fingers that I am not needing an extra yard because this yarn has been discontinued) that came together with a homemade lip balm and a cross made with olive wood from the Holy City. Thank you, dear Libby! ♥

Knitting time!

  3. Ha, I think vowing not to buy yarn must be the sure way to get more. ;) Those alpaca skeins from Libby are really beautiful, and I bet they are very soft. Orange is a favorite color of mine, too. I was just thinking earlier about all the orange things I have including a big orange purse. O.O It's really big, lol. I'm looking forward to seeing your orange socks. Have a great week!

    1. I think you're right. Not that I am complaining about it! I couldn't be happier. ;-)
The alpaca skeins are really soft, can't wait to pick up my thin needles again and work with them. If only I had four hands to knit the socks at the same time! So many things to do that I don't know where to start first. :-)
Have a great week in the foothills!
