Green Pea Fat Bag -2nd step

The bag is almost finished, just the handles are left.

Green Pea Fat Bag -step 2
Fat bottom indeed

I wanted to line it with a green fabric similar to the yarn but I couldn't find the same colour so I decided on this striped cotton & polyester one (mixes love me).

Green Pea Fat Bag -step 2
Gimme more yarn! Roar!!

The hems were sewn on the machine, but later I handstitched the lining to the bag because I didn't want the stitches to be visible from the outside. I also made two little inside pockets, one of them for the mobile phone. And yes, I was the one using the sewing machine :-D

It's not finished yet but I think I'm in love with it! But I'm not the only one, I've got my first customer... and I'm not going to be paid because she's family. Oh, well :-)

  4. Thanks for the nice comments! I hope the yarn left is enough for making the handles :-)

@Libby: you're right, the fabric chose me ;-) But Etsy will have to wait until I find cheaper yarn!

  7. Hola soy Eva.

    http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/fat-bottom-bag-2

    Te he añadido en ravelry.
    Saludos.
