No. Otro día.
¡Hasta la semana que viene! ¡Feliz fin de semana!

Almost last week of Minimalist November challenge! We are almost done. I don't know if I am sad because it is ending or happy to complete it. :-) If you are curious, you can read about my previous weeks here, here and here. Now I am writing down this week experience:
Day 21- Journal for 20 minutes ✔
Journaling and writing on paper about daily things is a small task that helps us get rid of stress. Instead of keeping them for me I wrote a letter which is now travelling overseas to a far away land. :-)
Day 22- Create a relaxing bedtime routine ✔
Is there anything more relaxing than reading in bed? Of course not. And we can snuggle up under the blankets too!
Day 23- Go bare-faced ✔
Sexist task!!! What about men doing this challenge? What do they do today? Are we implying they also wear daily make-up
Day 24- Practice gratitude ✔
I know I complain a lot and I shouldn't and I know I want more than I deserve. But the truth is we rarely appreciate what we already have. This is my list:
- lottery of being alive
- tap water
- birds singing
- dogs
- seasons
- rain!
- V. ♥
- "weird" parents
Day 25- Leave a whole day unplanned ✔
All my days are unplanned unless I have a doctor's appointment or Something Important Like That. Life taught me it is better not to plan anything and take it as it comes. :-)
Day 26- Identify your stress triggers ✔
Basically don't like them invading my personal space by:
- unnecessary touching (peck on the cheek, patting)
- phone calling
- breaking the silence (children, noisy neighbours, firecrackers, cars...)
- asking me for something
Out of all these things, some put me on the defensive while others just make me angry. Best way to face them is take a deep breath, try to minimize them and ignore the unpleasant feeling.
Day 27- Clear out your junk drawer ✗
That is my blog's name in Spanish and I keep it clean, thank you very much! :-Þ
On a more serious note, I have at least 3 junk drawers, a corner, shelves and underbed space. And I have been out all day so... Nope. Another day. Or year. Or whatever...
Not bad if you don't mind my weak spot: unable to organise or declutter. I have all these useless little things I have been accumulating over the years and DON'T want to throw them out. I don't think minimalism goes well with Diogenes syndrome. Suppose I will need to choose between one of those schools some day. ;-)
See you next week! Happy weekend!!
DeleteNuria, me parece que casi has hecho pleno...
ReplyDeleteFeliz fin de semana.
Besos.
DeleteBesos y feliz domingo.
...and I, my dear friend, am literally holding myself back from taking almost everything I own, throwing it into a box and donating it to charity. Seriously.
ReplyDeletep.s. If we ever meet in person, I must surely arrive a day early because I am almost always late (or getting there right on time). I apologize in advance. :-)
I wish I could be like you! My mom would adopt you for sure.
DeleteDon't worry about that. Spain is the country where arriving one hour late is considered a trifle. I once waited for a friend for a whole afternoon and evening, only to receive her call at night apologizing because she nodded off on the sofa. So you are forgiven in advance. ;-)
