$6.50 Sweater - 2nd step

I have been playing a little with my sweater and photoshop. Knitting top-down is awesome and trying the garment on a lot of fun. Looks like I will be able to finish it before the cold weather arrives!

$6.50 Sweater - 2nd step
Ghost house? Nah, bad light ;-)

I had time enough to try it on, measure, knit and frog till I got the right amount of stitches (as always, the original pattern does not fit me). At the same time, I have been writing down all the modifications I made so in the future I can adapt any design I like to this "model sweater".

  1. Looks good as a crop top too! What a great idea to start at the top and work down.

  5. Wow, those are gorgeous, eye catching colors! Knitting sweaters from the top is a brilliant method. You are way ahead of me - I've never knit a sweater.
    And you are so tiny - here have a chocolate donut. ;)

  6. Vaya Alhana,

  9. @Jane: you are right, it looked nice like a crop top with short sleeve.

    @Marisa: ¡si es que no hay tallas para nosotras, por mucho que digan!

    @Neen: thanks! They are cheerful.

    @Sue: I like to play with my photos a little too much, I think. Oh, what that place could be? I wonder!

    @Libby: you know? Mom did say the same about crafting with non-brownish colours. I guess I am going to surprise everyone this winter. lol

    @Tea: donut?! Pretty please! :-D

    @Carmen: uy, no te dejes engañar. Al tipito hay que vestirlo con ropa infantil talla 14... Un rompecabezas.

    @Maryse: ¡gracias! A mí también me gustan las rayas un montón.

    @Lolita: me pasaba igual que a ti, pero me he cansado de contar puntos en prendas viejas. A partir de ahora, todo por escrito. :-)
